Strategic Development & Operational Framework
The blueprint for the Get Outside Foundation's mission, operations, and community impact.
Executive Overview
The Get Outside Foundation (GOF) is established as a non-profit sister organization to Highline Adventures. Its primary mandate is to democratize access to high-quality outdoor education and training facilities in the Santa Ynez Valley.
While Highline Adventures operates as a premier commercial adventure park featuring California's fastest ziplines and extensive ropes courses, the Foundation serves as the conduit for educational, civic, and scientific utilization of these assets. By decoupling the educational mission from commercial operations, GOF can secure grants, partner with public institutions, and provide subsidized programming for schools, fire departments, and police agencies.
Mission Statement: To foster resilience, scientific curiosity, and tactical proficiency through immersive outdoor experiences, leveraging the unique geology and infrastructure of the Santa Ynez Valley.
